About me

Born and raised in Erbach, I am a true child of the Odenwald Region, halfway between Frankfurt/Main and Heidelberg. With a university degree in both geography and zoology (M.A.), I know my way around in nature, having profound knowledge about the region's landscapes, the connections and interactions in nature, about the ecology of the forest and about the ways of life of its inhabitants of the animal, plant, and rock realms.

Constant education is mandatory for me. So I am a certified nature guide (BANU), have the honor of being a Ranger for UNESCO Geo-Nature Park Bergstraße-Odenwald and am also a tourist guide. As such, I am a member of Gästeführung Odenwald e.V. and the Federal Association of Tourist Guides Germany (Bundesverband der Gästeführer Deutschland e. V./BVGD).

I had the pleasure and honor to learn from famous German nature educator Thorsten Ludwig as well as from Joseph Cornell himself, the US pioneer of nature education. In addition, I am currently enrolled as a student of  Jon Young's Wilderness Awareness School in Duvall/Washington (USA).

My thorough foundation of coaching was laid through different teachers, for example Life and Leadership Coach Kris Plachy, from who I learned by means of a certification course offered by University of California in Davis. I am also proud to call renowned Coaches Kendall Summerhawk and Richard Shapiro (Tucson, Arizona/USA) my teachers and mentors. Kendall Summerhawk has won several awards for her outstanding work especially with female entrepreneurs both from the US and abroad and is one of America's most famous Coaches. I am a Certified Money, Marketing & Soul® Coach.

Last but not least I am a founding member and deputy chairperson of the association "Mensch & Wald", which is seeking to promote forest therapy in Germany.
